On 22 July 2026, the Hong Kong Smart Mobility Chamber organized a delegation of Hong Kong taxi trade representatives to visit Wuling-related facilities and vehicle displays in Liuzhou, China. The delegation studied vehicle design, passenger space and possible applications across different mobility settings.

From the perspective of Hong Kong taxi operations and passenger needs, the visit focused on practical considerations including passenger capacity, energy efficiency, maintenance, charging or refuelling support and local regulatory requirements. The delegation also exchanged views on the potential suitability of new vehicle types for the Hong Kong market and taxi services.
